Suzanne’s Bio

seprator about

Suzanne is an inspirational speaker, who has been delivering talks focused on dispelling the myths about people with disabilities. She’s one who is also living with blindness but is not willing to remain invisible any longer. Her mission is to educate, inspire and give hope to those who are currently living with blindness or any disability.

Her life’s work is focused on ensuring that everyone understands that life can throw you a curve at any given time and that you could also become disabled. Life happens, sometimes things change without notice, but she knows that life comes in all shapes and sizes and knows no boundaries, except the ones that you place upon yourself.

Suzanne recognizes that fear is a major part of why the world is hesitant to acknowledge, discuss, and often misjudges those with disabilities. She’s experienced those prejudgments first-hand. People living with blindness must deal with an unemployment rate of approximately seventy-five percent (75%), due to the misconceptions, and stereotypes about people who are blind.
